"Scribbly" Front Covers (1-6)

I am lucky to have been working with Kim Duke for five years now, and she keeps coming up with fun, inspiring, gorgeous, and thrilling ideas, which she then goes for, making them happen with kindness, patience, and a wonderful sense of humor.

Scribbly is a magazine/booklet of sorts aimed at women who want to (re)discover their creativity when it comes to writing, boosted by a specific theme, around which every issue revolves. It's a combination of essays, writing exercises, pictures, photographs, illustrations (that's where I come in!) and so much more. It's mailed to one's home, so inside, it also contains envelopes with prompts, tattoos, postcards, and other random items. These are the front covers I illustrated for each issue.

Hope you like them! 😊
Issue 1: I am creative
Issue 2: Send your writing into the wild
Issue 3: Confidence
Issue 4: For the love of food
Issue 5: Simplicity
Issue 6: The practice of writing
Aaaaand here is the process of the cover for issue 3! (So much work, so much fun! All done while listening to the beautiful OST of Anne with an E. I was also reading, and falling in love with, the book at the time, so the whole week I was illustrating the Confidence issue resulted in a beautiful blend of emotions and sensations.)

Thank you!
